This evening could boil down to this:
I cooked and the kids clinged. No that's not a typo. They clinged to my wife for dear life. It was endearing and stress inducing all at once. On one hand I'm trying to give my wife a break. On the other I know she misses them and they her.
But for some reason, the insanity that gripped Nicholai earlier at Chik-fil-a came back full force. I've never heard so much whining in my life.
Dinner and bath were no exception.
So exhausted from this day it's not even funny. Only upside is that I was able to make dinner, clean up and get them somewhat settles down enough to do bath at a reasonable hour as well as get them to sleep. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Exhaustion abounds but I live on.
